Are you a social studies student and would like to gain experience in healthcare? Come and meet Doris. With us is the possibility to work day shifts, evening shifts and for the fanatics even sleep shifts.

 

What does a day look like?

At 8:30am you start by changing and washing Doris, at set times Doris is given medication and there are a number of other regular care tasks. In between you can snuggle up to Doris (and Hans), listen to music together, watch fun programs or do music therapy. On warm days you can go out for a walk, or even another outing. There are also cleaning duties, such as vacuuming, doing laundry, etc. At 17:00 the next student comes to take over your tasks. 

 

You get a lot of freedom and also plenty of time to get settled in. No previous experience? No problem with us! You will be helped and trained to become a Doris professional. That is the great thing about care for the disabled, every client is different. Similarly, Doris needs customized care.

• Doris has her own wheelchair car therefore a driver's license is a requirement.

• Due to Doris' vulnerability, childhood vaccinations and fall advised covid vaccinations and flu shot are a requirement.
